Bitter/Sweet
This weekend was a bitter sweet weekend! First off the sweet! So I totally had an amazing blind date on Friday night, it was awesome! This is the first time ever that a blind date of mine went really well! In the past they've either ignored me, or were extremely not my type in any way, which has caused me to be a little more cautious of blind dates. But all in all, I had an amazing night, full of dancing, singing, and laughter. But in light of the sweet came the bitter. So I ran to the gas station earlier Friday to grab some lunch... terrible place to go, but it was on my way. I guess the food wasn't exactly fresh so to say, and after eating it I noticed I didn't fell the greatest, but I kept on going... I haven't been sick in the longest time, so I just disregarded it. Well eventually after the date I wasn't feeling the greatest, and pretty much spent the whole night in pain from that stupid sandwich I ate, and all day on Saturday. Saturday... being my only day to get things done I was stuck on the couch watching the outdoors channel!! Good old hunting & fishing! Oh well such as life, if I'm not going to get sick from a passing bug, it's gonna be from some stupid food I eat, lol. Other wise the week was spent playing the good old guitar and creating a few new songs, pathetic attempts at least to try and figure out how to produce some good stuff.

So Dependent
It’s so crazy how much we depend on technology. Me being a technology guy, it’s sad how addicted I am the very things that make our lives easier. Besides it's a terribly expensive hobby to have, haha. That set aside, I started to think about this because I left my phone at home today when I went to work. I feel so naked without it, even more distant and disconnected from the world. No not really, but there are definitely people out there that are just like that. It's crazy! I can remember back in the beginnings of High School when cell phones were a luxury item, and you were pretty cool if you had one. But since barely anyone did, they were kind of pointless to have. We seemed to get a long alright without them, but here we are now, tied to texting and talking on the phone. For me I'd rather just talk in person, it's easier to distinguish emotion and converse in a more intimate manner. A funny thought came to mind while I've been rambling on about this. Have you ever noticed that when you are stuck in an awkward position you tend to pull out your phone and pretend to do something? Or text someone just so you have an excuse to withdrawal yourself from such awkwardness?? Haha I know I have, especially when you’re in a position by yourself with no friends and ya… how pathetic is that, but it's true. And in a sense it's just another added scare to us. We tend to withdrawal from the intimate society and therefore lose that unique relationship with individuals that were once present years ago.
So I really have no idea why I just went off on that, but I guess I can pull from it that I kind of miss being able to get to know more people faster and in a more intimate manner, than just sitting on the computer or phone texting, or IMing. But all in all, it certainly has made life easier, especially to get a hold of people, and to get things done in a more timely manner. What a crazy world, so when you get a chance, sit back, relax, and just chill for a bit. Wind down and let yourself rejuvenate! Happy Days!

The beginning
Alright so this is my first attempt at a blog. For some time I've thought it a waste to sit and type about myself, but I find in my spare time viewing other peoples blogs wanting to know whats going on in their life. So I broke down and decided to start typing, in attempts to organize my thoughts and express my feelings, and give an update of what's going on in my life.
You tend to do a lot of thinking when you're sitting at work waiting for things to finish, which sometimes isn't for the best, but at times can produce great results as well. For those who don't know I run a computer repair store in Lehi, UT. I'm usually the only one there 75% of the time and it tends to get lonely, and boring from time to time. I've been a fairly social guy for the last few years of my life. Never was before, but since I've broken out of that shell it's hard being in an environment where all you do is fix computers and listen to music by yourself. Which don't get me wrong is one of my passions in life. It would just be nice to be around more people to socialize with... all I've got is facebook chat, haha.
